Costuming

I also do costuming and clothing for dolls. In the photo on the left, I created a dropwaist dress for this Shoenhut doll. In the photo on the right, I’ve created an elaborate and beautiful ensemble to dress this doll.

Below, this recent example was done for a lovely bride. The bride wanted her doll to be dressed as she was on her wedding day. The job was particularly complicated as the wedding gown had already been cleaned and stored in an archival box — hence I couldn’t take it out to examine it. Using the brides photos I created the complete look including dress, hair, tiara, jewelry, shoes, and garter!
